distance travelled = circumference (not perimeter ) of semi - circle
=1/2 * 2 π r
= π r
magnitude of displacement = final - initial =r+r = 2r
therefoee ,
dist. : disp. = π r / 2 r
SIMPLY DRAW THE DIAGRAM OF A SEMI - CIRCLE AND YOU WILL GET IT ...
