another in normal reaction

The system is released from rest from the position show in thediagram If A and B have mass m and M respectively and all surfaces are smooth , then the normal reaction between A and B is assume that string and pulley are massles

well after release no motion will be there as
1. string is inextendable
2. on the basis of fig. i assumed that MA<MB

so no horizontal force hence normal reaction =0

T upwrds, mg downwards, N1 leftwards..

forget vertical motion..(not reqd)

N1= ma (say) where a is horizontal acceleration..

but a=0

so N1=0.

mass B will only move if Ma>Mb
jst assumed dat Ma<Mb on basis of fig.(ie size of 2 masses)
if this is nt the case then it has to b gvn dat Ma>Mb
othrwise N=0
sky's method makes it more simpler
