Happy New year everyone.
So, I recently watched Dhoom 3 and came across this scene where Amir Khan, and Amir Khan are on a launch, and are facing Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
Then they decide to fuse or join their bikes, and make a sort of jump over their heads, and onto the road right?
Is there a physics related explanation as to why they joined their bikes? Or was it just for show? Because I've given it some thought and can't make much sense out of the act.
Please help.

119I am just guessing:
The bikes may be joined to increase the total mass. This would increase the momentum, hence allowing them to be able to make that extraordinarily huge jump.
And one advise:
Please do not try to make sense out of fake action movies like Dhoom3.
