at Shreyas do it with my 2nd Eureka methd it will become a baye haat ka khel...

one more way
total elongation=total contraction

now,
the happy block :p A elongates by x1 ,
and the block B contracts by 5x2...

now double differentiate the equation

a1 = 5a2.........
Isnt really easy...

how to solve this question by eureka's method? find acceleration of A and B

and for the question posted by shreyas,
the constraint can be obtained by displacing '2M' to right by a distance 'x' so there is a slack of 2x (x frm each side) in the string so 'M' moves by 2x.

2T = 2M .(a)
Mg -T = M.(2a) // contrain reln.

hence a= g/3

work don e by tension 0 hona hi chaiye as string is massles so its energy can't rise

yaar work done by tension=0...............sare blocks ko dy displace kar aur tension ka work done calculate kar ke zero ke equal kar de........constraint apne aap mil jayegee..............

give some example ques so that i can explain that method.....[1]

eureka can u explain the tension method?

eureka123 ·

Constraint eqn is derived by 2 methods:
1)Length of string constant
2)Work done by tension is Zero..(Called Tension method).....

The 2nd method is very easy and less time consuming considering the fact that time is greatest limitation in exam hall[1]

see the length of the string is alwayzs constant!!!!!!!!!!!use this concept and try to derive it!!

cn anyone explain in detail this constraint relation.......... i m nt getting that particular one

how u get 5a2=a1

Abhishek Priyam ·

mg-T=ma
5T-Mg=M(a/5)

3
iitimcomin ·

T-mg = ma1.........(1)
Mg - 5T = Ma2......(2)

5a2 =a1...(3)

solve them to get answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
