LCR again

Resonance occurs in a series LCR ckt when the frequency of the applied emf is 1000 Hz.Then

(a)when frequency=900 Hz, then the current through the voltage source will be ahead of emf of the source.

(b)the impedence of the circuit is maximum at f=1000 Hz

(c) at only resonance the voltages across L and current in C differ in phase by 180 degree

(d) if the value of C is doubled resonance occurs at f= 2000 Hz.

At resonance circuit act as a pure Resistive circuit, as ωL=1/ωC and ω=2πƒ so as we decrease the frequency, capicitive reactance increases. And we all know that if there is a CR circuit current lead the voltage.
