Q: A hydrogen gas filled balloon, attached with a certain weight, floats inside a water tank such that its top is just inside the surface of water. What will happen to it if it is submerged a certain distance below the surface and released?

it should stay where it is released unless density or pressure change.

but if u consider pressure variation , baloon will shrink , so water displaced is less , so it goes further down . are u looking for this ans ?
