2 persons are holding a rope of negligible weight tightly at its ends,so that it is horizontal. A 20kg weight is attached to the rope at the mid-point,which is now no longer horizontal. The minimum tension required to strengthen the rope is _____________

The vertical component of the two tensions, P is to counteract the attached W,20 kg weight.
Since the rope needs to completely strengthen, it would become horizontal again. Hence, the tension becomes horizontal. This Horizontal Tension cannot give a vertical component, in other words the vertical component is given only at T=∞
