i did like this
ax+b and cx+d
put the values of x,y
and got y=x+1
y=-x+1
is it oK??
62ax+b goes from 0 to 2 as x goes from -1 to 1
so f(-1)=0 and f(1)=2
or
f(1)=0 and f(-1)=2
hence the answers :)
