How can a solid be "miscible" in a liquid? I thought miscibility is decided between different liquids...it seems statement 2 is wrongly phrased.
..select correct statement ------
1..NH3 is more soluble in aq. NH4Cl than in pure water
2..solid amm. fluoride and ice are miscible in water in all propartions.....

I think 1st one is incorrect as NH3 dissolves in water readily with evolution of heat.
so d 2nd one mght b correct,but pritish gave a right point.So a little bit confusion in 2nd one.

Agar soluble kaha hota toh main maanta..because ammonium fluoride has hydrogen bonding and molecules of ice are similar to molecules of water.
