Q) Hydroxide ion catalyses the reaction of piperdine with 2,4 - dinitroanisole but has no effect on the reaction of piperdine with 1-chloro , 2.4- dinitrobenzene. Explain why hydroxide ion acts as a catalyst in one reaction but has no effect in the other.

in the first case OH^- catalyses the reaction but in the 2nd OH^- causes nucleophilic substitution reaction on benzene ring
