Very tensed........... i want to drop but my parents want me to join iist........ plzz help?
i gave jee this year.... my rank in extended merit list is 8552.... i want to know that in which college i can get admission based on this rank... can i get iist & Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology according to last year cut off or should i opt for drop ????? also tel me about salary offered during placements in these institutes???????????

3u can earn money if u joind the rgipt.
u can earn knowledge if u join iist(research)
1Try for jee after joinin iist or some college, but imp thing u hav to b determined.....
or if u want to do very well in jee...explain ur views clearly to ur parents..

i talked wid one guy who is der nw he said most frm ranks in common merit list fill der
ther r only sum less seats (guess around 170) n ranks frm CML fill dat
so baby no chnce ...............
nw if u give iit again
n u get sum gud rank then u hav 2 leave iist
bt iist if u leave in middle u hav 2 pay them 2 lak rupees
n if u leave iist in d end then u hav 2 pay 10 lak so if u ready 4 dat then ya u go ther IF U GET
cuz chances very very less c around 2k seats n even rankers go thr frm CML so nw u can decide wat 2 do........

n i heard their pay pakage may b around 30 to 35k
n mainly try 4 iist cuz oder places u get MSc .....xcept rajiv gandhi wala i guess..........
n one more thing dnt think bout money money....cumz ....jitna hai utna aayega .............. take that steram wich u will b happy in .........
for eg
i noe one guy ,.....................he is cs frm bits ................. worked for 2 years in sum company .........nw he is frustated wid d same stuff n awl .............nw his salary is around 20k ,................... n he is tensed frustated .............. hating wat he is doin............. so do wat u like .............. moneys cum in wich ever field u go,..........
