IIt is different from CBSE.......u can't just pick out answers from the paragraphs which u read......imagination and enjoying the experience is as iimportant as understanding the concept ....don't lose heart and keep going on and on..... [50]

BHAI I AM GOING TO TELL U AN IMPORTANT THING

NOW AT THIS STAGE I HAVE BOUGHT MTG BOOKS (INTERACTIVE PHYSICS )ALL PARTS AND I PLAN TO COMPLETE THEM

U R IN +1 AND I HOPE U HAVE SUFFICIENT TIME TO SOLVE IT

REASON WHY I AM RECOMMENDING IT IS

>AWESOME THEORY
>MISCONCEPTIONS R MENTIONED
>POSSIBLE TRAPS WHERE A STUDENT MAY FALL
>SELF EVALUATION TESTS
>IF U WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM SURE U WILL BE ABLE TO DO H.C VERMA AND EVEN IRODOV

I AM FELLING SORRY 4 KNOWING THAT BOOKS LATE

...........................................................MY ADVICE

BUT TO THE ANSWER OF UR QUESTION IS

A BIG
NO

You have a lot of time

start doing a few things

1) Start to define your goals

2) Dont waste too much time on useless sites on the net

3) Focus on concepts. No matter which book you like

4) Ask people quesitons.. dont shy in asking even the most stupid doubts ever

5) 1 year is a lot of time if you do things correctly

Another important thing

no book in the world has all the concepts required for jee( many claim to have)

so unsolved problems will be there it is important to solve them

ask others but after you have tried it yourself fully

U still hav one year
Thats hell lot of tym for yer prep if U r focussed enough

Dont take ur books as books, jus' live through them. Dont leave a problem wen U R closing ur book. Take the subject (though not the book) with U wherever U R goin. The answers to ur doubts may pop out from nowhere. You must be prepared to accept them even in yer dreams.

So dont wander behind the many books with million problems.
Jus' have your concept and use them whenever U find a problem (like here on targetiit). The different problems given by different people with different views wud help U more than 100 problems on the same topic from the same author

Q how to improve problem solving??????????????
Ans: what i am going to say is not magic ........just some simple steps.....which some may feel useless...becoz opinions differ from person to person.......

step1: Have a cool mind..
step2: understand the concepts.
step3: analyze the problem from all possible angles.....having a biased view damages ur chances of solving a problem.
step4: try try try...........u will get it in the end....

step5: once u have done a question from basics......try to learn shortcuts.......do the same question using those tricks.....

keep doing these things...until u get the confidence ........
