1it all depends on you. new iits are not like the old ones in terms of facilities, infrastructure etc. you never know what the placements are like. but, on the other hand your branch is something ull have to put up with for 4 yrs. so u HAVE to like. and hence the choice is urs. do u like meta? or do u think ull like meta? if u think so, go for the old iits, but if u are very much perticular of ur branch, and want just ee or me, then think about new iits.

Between a NEW IIT and a BHU it will be a very difficult choice....
BHU could just scrape through if you get comp science...
1Still...i've heard new IITs (a couple of them) are good. So decide accordingly.
