x+2y = 3 & y = mx - 3m where m belongs to (-∞,-1/2) u (0,∞) then a lies in the region

where a ε C & b ε R - {-1} & l a l 2 - b > 0

STATEMENT 1 : If arg (z+1)(z - b) = pi/2 , then Im(a) = 0

STATEMENT 2 : If Img(a)>0 & 0 < arg [ (z-x1)/(z-x2) ] < pi/2 , x1,x2 ε R then x1< x2
