No repeated roots as in....a cannot be 1 or 10, isn't it?
There are n natural numbers. Probability that a is 1 or 10
= P(1 or 10)
= P(1) + P(10)
= 1/n + 1/n
= 2/n

So probability that a is not 1 or 10 is given by
P(Not 1 or 10)
= n - 2n
