1)Can I appear for GATE after doing BSc in Mathematics.?
2)If I take up B.Tech Eng. then,I can give GATE in 3rd or 4th year?

yes if u get a BTech u can give GATE ! u can give in 3rd and 4 th yr too ...mostly both[3]

please dont aim to give GATE..

MTech courses at IITs are mediocre. I know people will not like to hear this or believe this.. but ask any IITian (of course a B Tech) he will say the same....

If you really want to excel try to do very well in college and may be go abroad for higher studies.

If you want a job, try to excel at the college in all fields including acads.
