this is the reaction: CaCO3 + 2 HCl → CaCl2 + CO2 + H2O
one mole of CaCO3 gives 1 mole of CO2. so 2.5/100 moles of caco3 gives 2.5/100 mol of co2 ≡ 2.5/100 * 22.4 L
