hmm being hyper about JEE ?

Yar it will be a nice thing not to analyse the upcoming paper at this point of time.........

just keep it cool dude .... that itself makes a lot of difference.......use this advantage .. most of the students would be in utmost tension n pressure ....so make use of their weakness !

thats what we are meant to do ..after all its a competition !!

Coordinate geometry is one of d scoring topics in mathematics, provided u've a complete grip on all d formulae... missing even one of them will matter a lot (since, every problem of coordinate geometry tempts us to solve it, n infact v can solve it... only thing dat matters is how quick v solve it...!!!)... so be alert while attempting a coordinate geometry question... v must have a crystal clear idea of what is d shortest method to solve it... n if it comes under our tym limit, then v must attempt it... else, leaving it will be a wise decision...

ur second question is about tym limit... infact it depends on topics... n according to me, only ur teacher (if u think he's worth teaching jee) can give u a better idea of d tym limit, as they are more experienced n accurate in dis issue than co-students...

for ur last question... only d admins can answer, because only they know whats d standard of targetiit papers compared to jee level...

for ur question about marks... following is d marks for each 500 ranks... hope this helps u...

Aggregate Total for every 500th rank in Common Merit List

Rank in Common Merit List Aggregate Marks
1 433
501 287
1001 263

801 189
901 183

Aggregate Total for every 100th rank in SC Category

601 108
690 104

Aggregate Total for every 100th rank in ST Category

Rank in ST Merit List Aggregate Marks
1 292
101 114
159 104

[sorry couldn't upload d exact HTML page... note dat ranks are followed by marks in d no.s displayed above]

and for ur question about giving up a problem... i've a strategy for dat, when u start attempting ur paper... first attempt all those questions which are easy at first glance, n mark d questions(wid diff symbols) which u think u can solve but are a bit tough and d questions which u've no idea at all of how to solve it...

then solve d second category of questions after solving all easy questions... n later on, if possible, make logical guessing in d third category of questions... if u cant even guess d answer, then give it up... its better to leave d question rather than guessing blindly...

hope my tips help u to a li'l extent atleast... all d best... [1]
