1When do you plan to appear for IIT JEE is a very critical question when it comes to looking for the right book, and yeah there are plenty of concepts in chemistry, albeit KD managed to get through without it :P

62I Like NCERT for most of the stuff.
There is a small part that is not well explained.
Arihant is also good.. But there are errors in that book.
i wud say try VMC coaching study material (It is not a concept builiding material.. but i sometimes wonder how much of chemistry is about concepts!)

Organic has a lot of concepts (No doubt)
Physical has even More
Inorganic has far lesser.. I recommend VMC for Inorganic generally.
I think that most ppl do get good material for physical and organic..
I have rarrely found ppl asking for books in these two.
I strongly believe and have often said that IIT JEE is not about mugging things. It is strongly about concept building :)
