1where the hell did u get this cut offs??????
The JEE results have all been shocking, atleast for some guys like me.
Beleive me or not, here are some stats....
Shock number 1) 1 of my friends got round 155 marks in dis yrs JEE, and managed a rank arund 5000.
Shock number 2) another friend got 186 with a rank around 8000.
Shock number 3) A few others (including me) got round 220 - with no rank.
All these guys are supposed to have cleared individual cut-offs and none belongs to SC-ST catagory, so how on earth is this thing possible?

after 3rd june it will be all clear but i reuest u to do this for me
11Many have not make into iit due to the individual cut off considered by IIT this year.
well Raja, a guy with 155 cannot clear jee if he is from general category because the individual cut off is as follows
chem -- 75
phys -- 65
maths -- 35
which add upto 175
One of my friend with 276 is disqualified because his score in maths is only 26.
1do you think that might be some of us could not have cleared the subject cutoffs.

1i calculated it 230,even if i m wrong deducting 30-40 marks wud still make me qualified.now say ?
3dont worry guys looks like they are doin something about it....many of my friends got affected .. also online fillin postponed to 30th..maybe for correction purpose..so chill...

there were such high hopes this year,but ghotala aisa hua hai ki ,its difficult to make out where .In marking system,marks allocation,cut-off wise,hindi students served with greater marks or separate category listings.
its frustating me like hell.i dropped last year so confidently for this ?
So many ppl were asking me reviews for re-exam ,but i blutnly answered i m happy in both,but c now,kisi ko muh dikhane layak nahi choda hai ab result ke baad.
my big big smile got vaporised after seeing my results.......feels like crying but ab i m not that sme iit freak,i will take up any other college now more confidently........jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai
1i m an obc candidate expected arnd 175 marks but didnt qualified in the list.
in 2009 gen cutoff 178 obc cutoff 161
in 2010 i thought gen cutoff around 170 and obc cutoff around 155-160 so i was sure to make it in the gen as well as obc list with 175.
last year a guy got 170 and got obc rank as 1650 around and he is in it bhu metallurgy so i thought this year i wud get a gud stream than it bhu metallurgy.
this year a guy got around 215 and no gen rank and obc rank as 1750 something. another one got 200 no gen rank obc rank as 2250 something. can u see the diff in 2010 with a tougher paper.
how is this possible???????????
1yup...even m shocked...knw 5 people who dint get in including me...n friends with similar score got in.....oder people r also complaning the same things...
I HAVE SUM EXPLANATION :
they checked it the opposite way for us...n took that score instead of the way we did...a error can always come in...may b in sum subject we have higher score the oder way just by a probability factor...n there oder 2 subject score decreased!!

1dekho naa aaj se counseling hi suru hone waali thi par abtak to sites par sannata pasra hua hai. ........... mujhe toh gadbad ki boo aa rahe hai.......Cutoff bhad kaise gaya yaar ...............gadbad hai kuch toh jaroor gadbad hai !

i know some people expecting around 210 and getting 8000 rank.i feel that's the cutoff.andhra pradesh took away 25% of the seats and most of the top rankers are from there only.how can the cutoff increase by approx. 30 marks as compared to 2009 with a tougher paper?
