02-03-09 Very simple one.

Explain how you will fidn the work in expanding a gas from

V to 2V

If the process is such that first volume is halved at constantpressure, then doubled at constant temperature. Then halved at constant temperature and then increased 4 times at constant pressure.

Not very tough. Probably very easy :)

w1=Pext(∂V)
w2 = nRT ln(V2/V1)
w3 = nRT ln(V2/V1)
w4=Pext(∂V)
