05-06-10 - Lines of forces...

A solid metallic sphere in a uniform electric field..how to draw..lines of force

Now if the solid metallic sphere is to be replaced by a hollow metallic sphere, how will the field lines look like.

Again draw the lines of forces if the spheres were non metallic (Non conducting)

@Tush:How does field lines intersect, as you have in the second one?

I think the electric line of forces would just graze each other, parallel to each other, at the centre, then diverge.

SIR CAN U PLZ CORRECT THE PROBLEM????don't u think it should be UNFIORMLY CHARGED IN NON_CONDUCTING CASE????
otherwise MILLIONS OF FIGURES ARE POSSIBLE [3][3][3]

NOTE:DESNSITY OF FILED LINES INCREASES LINEARLY WITH DISTANCE FROM THE CENTRE :) and obviously they DON't INTERSECT ANYWHERE LOLZZZZZZ!
