30-10-09 Find the value.

find the value of

[(3-√5)100+(3-√6)100+(3-√7)100+(3-√8)100]

where [.] stands for greatest integer function....

I gave a variant of this one in an exam thinking that this would be easily cracked.. but no one seems to have got the solution :(

i solved it by approximation............
√5 = 2.23=> 3-√5 = 0.77 => (.77)^100 = .00000....9
similarily all other terms will attain dis form
so [.000000......]=0
m i rite bhaiyya?????..........................sorry if i m wrong
its the first method dat i could think..........

yup indeed that is what i had in mind [1]

I gave this one in a recent test.. infact only 2 terms.. unfortunately even the best guys missed this one for a strange reason [1]
