3(10na+x)=(10x+a)
a(3.10n-1)=7x
so we need to find n such that 3x10n-1 is a multiple of 7...
then it is a peice of cake :)
a similar trick manish told me long time back.. that was applicable for a simpler such question...
1so far so good..my main point iis .. This number is too peculiar First of all arranging the number cyclically gives multiples of the preceeding number and 1/7 = 0.142857... 142857 is the exact answer.. what is happeneing ?? what is the connection with 1/7

look at 1/13 = 0.0769230769230769230769230....
769230 , 076923, 307692, 230769, 923076 and 692307
These are cyclic and are all multiples of 076923 (I havent seen all of them to be true.. just the first one and the 3rd one :P)
