90+ would be better (in fact 95%ile is around rank 10000 assuming BT %iles are approximately same as IIT-JEE and 2,00,000 students take the exam)

Hi I got 90.6 percentile when I gave just 60 percent of my ability in BMAT part test IV...... feeling so good......

I just wanted it once...... once >90 and am happy.... Now I am studying hard!

but 60% |-----> 90.6 %le

means 100% |--->151%le

contradiction!!

I fail to guess the function....:D

Subhodip.. ur mistake is u r assuming proportionality ;) :P

U are also ignoring factors like over-confidence, girlfriend's' etc :P

Let Hard work + preparation = T (in percent )

Over confidence = \Delta(in percent)

Number of girlfriends = \zeta

Food taken bfore exam = F( quality in percent)

Percentile obtained = P

Then it follows that \sum_{n= -T}^{\infty}f(P)= \sum_{m= -\infty}^{\infty}\int_{(\Delta+1)/m}^{\Delta+1- (1/m)}\left ( \frac{e^{-2\pi i \zeta t}-e^{2\pi i (\zeta+1)t}}{1-e^{2\pi i t}} \right )f(t)dt

Where f(x) = (\zeta)! \cdot x^{T} \cdot \int_{t=1}^{\infty}\frac{\text{d}F}{\ln (F)}

I think it's correct..:P
