Okay luks like long arguing discussion but i agree with John.
The question does not say that all indians must like one between apples and cheese. it is possible that they like neither.
Now minimum no. of people that like both has to be as mani has done = 39%. Because if there are lesser than that then the percentage will be >100 in this case all people like apple or cheese or both .. There is no one who doesn't like either
Now we need to find max. value of ppl liking both.
It will be max. if one of the sets is the subset of the other i.e. all people liking cheese like apples as well. So, it is 63% Here 37% of the people like neither hence the answr

u have P(A)=63/100
P(B)=76/100
P(A\bigcap{B})=??
P(A\bigcup{B})=P(A)+P(B)-P(A\bigcap{B})
1=63/100+76/100-x
x=39/100
so answer is A
