Lines but straight

Ques 1) If the point (cos θ , sin θ ) does not fall in that angle between the lines y = |x-1| in which the origin lies, then θ belongs to
(a) (∩ /2 . 3∩ /2) (b) (-∩/2 , ∩/2)
(c) (0,∩) (d) none of these

Ques 2) If the line y = √3 x cuts the curve x3 + y3 + 3xy + 5x2 + 3y2 + 4x + 5y - 1 = 0 at the pts A,B,C then find OA . OB . OC

Ques 3) If from point P (4,4) perpendiculars to the straight lines 3x + 4y + 5 = 0 and y = mx + 7 meets at Q and R and area of the triangle PQR is max, then find the value of 3333 m.

Ques 4) The distance of the point (2,3) from the line x-2y + 5 = 0 measured in a direction parallel to the line x- 3y = 0 is .............

Q1. (d) ??
Q2. put y=√3x and generate the 3 deg eqn (only the coeff of x3 and const term req) which seems to be (3√3+1)x3 and -1 resp

So OA.OB.OC = 8x1x2x3 = 8*1/(3√3+1)

4) ans √10

distane of (2,3) measured in a direction parallel to the line x- 3y = 0 from line x-2y + 5 = 0 mens

distance of(2,3) from (point of intersection of line L (LINE HAVING slope equal to 1/3 and passing through (2,3) ) AND LINE x-2y + 5 = 0 )
