let a' b c be a/r a ar

so nw

intersction o fline n curve is a'2y^2-by-c=0

sum of d ordinates

ie roots is

y1+y2= b/2a'

b/2a' =a/2(a/r) =r/2

bt wat we need is engative of thsis so answer is c /......ie r/2

let
b = ar
c = ar2
THerefore

x + ry + r2 = 0
x = - 2 y2
-2y2 + ry + r2 = 0

Σy = -b/a
Σy = -r/(-2r)
Σy = r/2

There fore option c
