2 and 6 are in parallel which is in series to 1.5 and they are parallel to 3 :)

Jisha Krishnan Current will follow the path of least obstruction, so it will go across the 3 ohm resistance and so by I=V/R I=6/3 = 2A

Equivalent resistance will be [{(2||6)+1.5}||3]=1.5 ohm

So current by the battery will be 6/1.5=4A
