IS THIS MATH?

A traffic light is green for 30 seconds, then red for 30 seconds, then green for 30 seconds and so on. What is your expected delay?

oh you posted it here too ;)

The expected delay will be

\int_{0}^{30}{\frac{1}{60}(30-t)dt}

=\frac{1}{60}\int_{0}^{30}{t dt}

=\frac{1}{60}\times 30^2/2

900/120
30/4 = 7.5

see if it is correct

Delay means how much time you wait in the signal
