The number of subsets of a set of n elements is

(b) 2n

and plzz give some xplaination about sets as i have just passes class 10th and want to learn sets for a scholrship exam

Set is a collection of well defined objects

there are 2ⁿ subsets of a set

the reason is that for every element in the set, it can either be there in the set or it may not..
so there are 2 options for each element...

for n element it gets multiplied n times...

hence 2ⁿ
