In CuSO₄. 5H₂O
square planar complex is formed with Four H₂O attached to Cu²⁺ and out those four H₂O.....2 are linked with SO₄^2- and SO₄^2- is further linked to 1 more H₂O
there is electrovalent attraction b/w Cu²⁺ and SO₄^2-
in H₂O covalent bonding exists and b/w Cu²⁺ and H₂O coordinate bonding exists and b/w H₂O and SO₄^2- hydrogen bonding exists..
