Hopelss - need hope.

Colemante on being treated with Sodium Carbonate gives Calcium Carbonate, and (A) & (B). A on being treated with CO2 gives B with Sodium Carbonate.
B+HCl(conc) gives NaCl & an acid, which on being treated with water gives another acid (C).
IDENTIFY A,B,C.

A) NaBO2
B) Na2B4O7
C) H3BO3 ....?

A is NaOH.
B is Na2B4O7 and C is HBO2.
are the answers right soumik?

I was only confused which was Sodium-Metaborate and which was Borax? Can u say how u identified them - avik?

Well u know i checked it later on the net and the same thing as i said was given.

Because, tht is a specific & important Borax prep. (NaBO2 with CO2)....!!

Ya anyway my ans of A was wrong as A with CO2 gives Na2CO3 and B..which i didnt quite realise then.
