If the product shows only one type of isomer then reactant must be trans ..is my conclusion correct ??

ques 2 it exists as d10 bcoz completely filled orbital will be more stable ....

Ans 1 ..If u start with trans isomer ..u wil get only one product meridonial ..and if u start with cis u will get both fac- and mer- ..so ur conclusion is true
Ans 2..it exists as d10
