In case of Cu+2, [Cu(en)3]2+ is more stable then [Cu(en)2(NH3)2]+2

What's the reason?

a compound with a chelating ligand(ring type ligand) is more stable than non -chelating ligand

also add this

(a) greater the charge on central metal ion, greater is the stablity

(b) greater is the ability of the ligand to donate electron pair (basic strength),greater is the stability
