say fe2+ and 4 Cl- and 2 CO 4 are weak and 2 are strong will the pairing take place??

wow , nice Q .
pairing of electrons or unpairing of electrons can be very nicely explained using the crystal field theory , it depends on the way of approach of ligands. but , pairing will occur according ot me , as the donating capability of CO is greater right and also ti's a storng field ligand.? so the ion formed must be [Fe(CO)2Cl4]2- .
