Another question........

A block of mass M/2 is kept over another block of mass M and the heavier block is kept over smooth horizontal surface. The heavier block is long enough such that the smaller block does not fall during subsequent motion and there is friction bet. the blocks.Suddenly, the block ofmass M/2 is given an impulse J in horizontal dir......My question is whether the friction will be impulsive or non-impulsive????

Even friction can be impulsive in certain cases?

  • Akash Anand Tell me just one thing ..if friction is mu times of N and if N can be impulsive then why not friction? I have uploaded the class-11 ppt. Is that not enough to get this point clear?
