A particle of mass m is placed on vertical fixed circular track and then it is given velocity v vertically downward at top most posn. on track . If block moves on track with constant speed then what is work done from top most pt. to lowest pt. by fricn. on block?

very simple .... assuming by ur question u meant that the object moves with a velocity v on the track

taking the earth and object as a system
then change in total enrgy =work done or as simply
mgr

u may also apply work energy theorm.
wf+wp.e=Δke
w+(-mgr)=0(as v is constant)
w=mgr
