Some Jack's physics and see how it helps him escape the flying Duchman :P

Q.1 Jack is on the top of a mast(10 m high see level) of his Black Pearl and sees the flying Duchman (point sized :P) at a distance of 10√3 m. With what minimum speed he must shoot his riffle to hit the Flying Duchman?

Adventure 2.

Jack's Ship is caught in a storm while escaping from the Flying Duchman. Black pearl(his ship.. his :P) has a velocity of 3 m/s in west to east direction and due to storm his ship gets an acceleration of 2m/s2 in south north direction.. Find radius of curvature of the path traced by Black pearl as a function of time.. assume t=0 at the instant shown..

Don't forget to help Captain sparrow..

Adventure 1... is a good question which will take ur little time if u proceed conventionally taking u and θ and then writing equations and differentiating to get min u..

But if U plan doing this that way don't do it as u can surely do it that way so why waste ur time in this if u have some badmasi in ur mind then try it and may be u can get 3 line soln..

Not even can the great Jack Sparrow shoot a point sized target. You don't have the man for this job - RAJNIKANTH or VIJAYKANTH.

i thought abt the first

i know ths is not the smallest method

but simpler than the longest method

considering projection angle as theta+30

and considering AB and a line ppr to it as the axes

we get time of flight directly

easier to minimize velocity
