A man of 60kg is standing on a horz conveyer belt The belt is having a horz accelration of 1m/s2,the man remains stationary wrt moving belt.If g=10m/s2,the net force on man is ???????

Answer given is 60N but how??????????

man is at rest wrt belt so his acc must also be 1m/s^2

So by F=ma we get the net force acting on him

with respect to the conveyor belt net force is 60N.
with respect to the ground the net force is √mg2+ma2

i think not

1m/s2 is his absolute acceleration not relative

and weight does not produce any acc on him it is balanced by normal rn

1m/s2 is the acceleration of the belt and N and mg are the action reaction. the force N acts on the man and mg acts on the belt.
