simple question

A rod is floating with half of its length submerged in water. inclined at an angle θ with vertical sinθ=3/4. It is supported by a string on one end. Find:
(i) the specific gravity of the rod
(ii) now the string is cut. what is the acceleration of A immediately after this
(iii) after string is cut at what distance from the centre does the point have only horizontal acceleration.

A is the end of the rod which is attached to the string. sry for not showing it..
