Q 3
B)

T1=3g, T2=6g so T1>T2. pulley is frictionless so no net force is applied by the string on pulley and hence the pulley doesnt rotate. the string slips over the pulley. if friction≠0 then string offers friction to the pulley n hence pulley recieves a force around the centre of mass and rotates.
but of course T1>T2 still.

but pulley still has mass doesn't it?

Aditya Chatterjee ·

the tension wont depend on the pulleys mass.

will it??

I agree wid ADITYA...........

a,e,d for question 1

@ asis mass hai to kya harz hai...... kisi bhi non frivctional surface mein mass to hota hi he

Q2 mein d,e are out of quest....

we need to think only tension portion, same i guess will be the case in Q3 not in terms of tenson ofcorse

CASE 1 : F1+F2=F3 body is in equilibrium

CASE2 : F1+F2=F3 there is no mass of pulley so μmg waale factor mein m->o

CASE3 : F1+F2=F3 yahan pe friction hi gayab hai!!!!!!!!!

CASE4 : iss mein rotation hogi aur torque conserve karni padegi
but iss mein thodi confusion hai
try karte hain isko bhi
