Coming to the options

a When x<f the image is virtual and has no point of discussion

b When f<x<2f Image is behind and according to parallax, when you move your eye to left the closer element, here the image, appears to move right.

So b is correct

c When x=2f. Image superimposes on object and you dont find any devietions in their positions.

d When x>2f image is formed before the object, and according to parallax object appears to move to the right

for Q 3 . find the potentials at the points X and Y they're same . so even if they're connected no current flows.
