Shastras question

How much volume of air will be needed for complete combustion of 10 lit. ethane?
I'm getting the answer as 35 but the answer given is 175 lit.

175 lit will be the answer

Ranadeep Roy see 35 lit is the oxygen required, and oxygen forms about 20 percent of air, so vol of air required is 175 lit
