well at a given temerature average kinetic wenergy is same for all!

yup KE = 32kT where k = boltzmann's constant
hence KE is same for helium and hydrogen at 298 K [1]

kinetic energy is not affected by change in tempreature . . so KE of both hydrogen and helium remains same. .
