There is density change in vacancy defect but no density change in Frenkel defect. They both involve dislocation of the atom in the lattice point to an interstitial space. So why do they show this difference?

No dear,

In vacancy defect, one +ve n one-ve ion go missing frm their respective sites.....In Frenkel, they occupy interstitial space.
