He probably means to say why for those monoxides entropy is not zero at ZERO KELVIN.
From Gibbs free energy change eq, if I put T = absolute zero, entropy change becomes infinity...does that have anything to do with this??? [4]

Reason : Residual Entropy
In crystals of carbon monoxide, carbon and oxygen have similar size which helps them to exchange their position in a crystal and provide some entropy even at 0 K..this is known as residual entropy...
