good prob :)

when 1-pentyne(A) is treated with 4N alc. KOH at 175 °C , it is converted slowly to an eqm mixture of 1.3% 1-pentyne(A), 95.2% 2- pentyne (B) and 3.5% 1,2- pentadiene (C). the eqm mixture was maintained at 175 °C. calculate ΔG° for the following equilibria :

B <-> A ΔG1° = ?

B <-> C ΔG2° = ?

From the calculated values of del G s ...

indicate the stability of A,B,C.
