1) Equimolar quantities of each of the following substances are dissolved in enough water to make 1 L of solution. Arrange the solution so prepared in order of increasing pH.
(a) KHSO4 (b) NaHCO3 (c) Na2O (d) HClO4 (e) CH3 NH3 Br

2) Calculate the pH of a 0.15 M aqueous solution of AlCl 3 , Given:-

[Al (H2O)6] 3+ + H2O (l) → [Al (H2O)5 OH]2+ (aq) + H3O+ (aq) ......Ka = 1.4 X 10-5

3) Find the pH of the solution obtained when 25 mL of 0.005 M benzylamine is titrated to the equivalence point with 0.005 M H Cl. pKb of benzylamine is 9.33

4) 10 mL of 0.1 M CH3COOH (pKa = 4.74) is titrated with 0.1 M NaOH. What is the pH when :-
