i think it is saying that HCl is 60% by mass in its aqueous solution and it is asking for the mass of this solution of HCl required....if it is so

Soln- according to the reaction you gave with one mole of Zn 2 mole of HCl react ,
so for 0.2 moles of Zn HCl moles required
=2*0.2=0.4
ie mass of HCl required = 0.4 *36.5
let the mass of aqueous soln be x
thus according to ques

60% of x =0.4 *36.5

solving for x
x= 73/3 gm

Thts Correct Vaibhav.

"mass of 60% HCl (by mass)" means tht 100gm of the HCl sol.n contains 60gm of HCl, and we need to find the required mass of this 60% HCl solution to react completely with 0.2 mole Zn.
